Tanzania's Selous (Nyerere) is the home of the long safari: mobile tented camps, vast miombo concessions, and buffalo plus classic East African plains game on one licence.
All species listed occur in the same southern-Tanzania blocks — Grant's gazelle and mountain species are excluded because they belong to Serengeti/arid zones, not Selous miombo. Fourteen days is a practical minimum for buffalo plus a meaningful plains-game bag.
