NAPHA

According to Hunt Namibia, the Namibia Professional Hunting Association, or NAPHA, began in 1974 and has worked for over five decades as Namibia's main group for professional hunting. It aims to show the country as a fine hunting spot while guarding ethical fair-chase ways and the lasting care of its wildlife. Recognised by the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism as the voice for selective trophy hunting, NAPHA joins professional hunters, guides and others dedicated to good wildlife care. It sets and applies guidelines so hunting helps conservation, habitat care and rural growth. Strict membership and conduct rules stress taking mature animals, fair chase and land respect. Training programs keep hunters meeting high world marks in skill, honesty and nature duty. NAPHA supports sustainable-use conservation, science-based management and policies balancing ecology with gains for owners and communities, showing managed hunting protects species and habitats. Its medal program honors ethical skill in taking mature wild animals, valuing quality. The association upholds hunting tradition through integrity and conservation so its hunts preserve landscapes and aid dependent communities.
