Equipment & Requirements
Equipment Provided
Hunting vehicle or foot track; PH team; radios; first-aid; salt and caping kit; backup rifle in camp. Dangerous-game rifle hire (.375 H&H and up) usually offered — confirm hire fee and ammunition.
Equipment You Need to Bring
Broken-in boots; quality binoculars; personal clothing; travel clinic advice. Own rifle optional — many dangerous-game hunters hire camp rifles; coordinate CITES/export with the outfitter regardless.
Physical Requirements
Comfortable walking several kilometres daily in heat; able to shoot from sticks. Prior safari experience helpful for longer dangerous-game packages.
Accommodation Details
Camp
Permanent or semi-permanent tented camp with mess, ablutions, and generator or solar power. One base camp for the safari unless the block requires a move.
